Our Foundations programme at CrossFit Central London is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of CrossFit in a practical and approachable way. Over four sessions, you’ll experience a variety of workout styles, learn how to scale movements, and build the confidence needed to join our group classes.

What is the Foundations Program?

The Foundations programme is for anyone new to CrossFit or looking to ease into our workouts. At CrossFit Central London, we’ve structured it to give you a broad introduction to the different types of classes we offer, from strength-focused to high-intensity conditioning. Our goal is to ensure you feel prepared and confident in any class environment. This program is perfect for those looking to build a strong foundation before transitioning into regular group classes.

Varied Workouts

In our Foundations program, you’ll get a taste of everything CrossFit offers. Each session introduces a different class style, from heavy strength days to endurance-based conditioning, so you’ll know exactly what to expect when you join a class.

Scaling and Intensity

One of the first things you’ll learn is how to scale movements to your fitness level. We emphasize adjusting intensity so you can challenge yourself safely and effectively, no matter your experience or background.

Building Confidence

Foundations is about preparing you for success in regular classes. In this small-group setting (4 maximum) we take the time to ensure you understand the workouts, feel comfortable with the movements, and are ready to train alongside our community with confidence.
